Dear Valued Customers,

We hope this message finds you well and surrounded by your beloved four-legged friends. We write to you today with a heavy heart to confirm that due to the enforcement notice that has been issued to us by the local council, we find ourselves in the painful position of having to temporarily close down our cherished dog park business from the 1st September 2023.

First and foremost, we want to express our deepest gratitude for the unwavering support, enthusiasm and love you've shown us and our park over the years. Your presence at the park brought life, joy, and a true sense of community that we will forever cherish. Witnessing the friendships formed between both two-legged and four-legged members was a constant reminder of the positive impact that Barkrun had on all of you.

While this closure brings about sadness and a sense of loss, please know that it is not the end of our journey. We are committed to exploring every avenue available to us to reopen the park in the future. Your safety and the well-being of your pets remain our top priorities, and we are dedicated to creating a space where you can once again find solace, laughter, and companionship.

During this interim period, we encourage you to stay connected with us through our social media channels and newsletter updates. We will keep you informed about any developments, progress, and potential reopening plans. Your support and encouragement will serve as a guiding light in this challenging time, reminding us of the strong bond that exists within our community.

Please remember that the memories we've shared, the wagging tails, the joyful barks, and the camaraderie between fellow pet lovers will forever remain in our hearts. We are genuinely thankful for your understanding as we navigate these circumstances beyond our control.

If you have any questions, suggestions, or messages you'd like to share, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Your feedback is invaluable as we work diligently to overcome these obstacles.

In these challenging times, your words of support could make a world of difference. We kindly request you to consider sharing your experiences, memories, and the positive impact our dog park business has had on your lives. Your heartfelt letters will not only serve as a source of encouragement for us during this temporary closure but also as powerful evidence of the countless moments of happiness, community, and well-being our park has brought to you and your beloved pets. Your stories will be invaluable as we navigate the path towards reopening and demonstrate the importance of maintaining a space where companionship and joy thrive. Your voices matter, and by sharing your thoughts, you contribute to preserving the legacy of our park. Please send your letters to
charlotte@whirleymere.co.uk along with the local council and local MP where you see fit.

Once again, thank you for being a part of our dog park family. We look forward to the day when we can welcome you and your furry companions back to a safe and secure environment where beautiful moments can be created once more.

Warmest regards,

Charlotte & The BarkRun Team
